Euro Chocolate

This weekends day trip was fueled by chocolate. It was the last days of Eurochocolate, which is not only the biggest chocolate festival in Italy, but also in the world. Before catching a bus back to Siena we happened on a group in Piazza Novembre IV giving out balloons. Everyone released the balloons at once, each one marked with individual wishes. As a friend pointed out, a bit of a poor environmental decision…but definitely a fun sight. The building in the background is the Palazzo dei Priori, a 14th century seat of Perugian government. It was quite the contrast to crowded festival.
